If someone were to write a book about your freelance life / career, what would it be titled?

The path towards growth & success.

What is your city as Freelance Business Community Ambassador? Why did you choose this location. Why do you live there?

Cyprus – I chose to move from London as my roots are half Cypriot. I felt drawn to explore my ethnicity in depth!

What do you do as a freelancer? What is your profession?

Event Coordinator, Community Builder, Social Media Management.

When and how did you start freelancing? Where did you promote yourself?

My freelancing career commenced in London, 2018 focusing on events within the tech, creative, and music industries. I then build my own brand where I hosted Music Networking events! One of my first projects was at Tech. In London for Shoot Media.

How did you find your current clients and projects?

Networking events & word of mouth. My clients saw how dedicated I was both on and off-site. I make it my priority to satisfy my client’s needs and expectations. Recommendations were also made over the years.

What is your favourite thing about freelancing?

Life-work balance / Being free to work location independently, meeting like-minded souls around the world and focusing on how I can live an abundant life.

What is your biggest challenge in freelancing?

Finding a balance between taking time off, and focusing on growing my business.

Where do you stand now with your freelance journey?

At the start of the year, I was thriving both financially and energetically. Personally, the past 5 months set me back so I’m now focusing on my new cliental/business. It’s beautiful to see my capabilities again, and how much of an asset I am to my clients. My priority is to focus on putting my energy into what I love the most by building my Event company in Cyprus.

What would you do differently if you would start freelancing today?

I’d pour more belief into myself, by focusing on a niche I’m truly passionate about. I’ve spent a lot of time and energy in different fields, which has taught me a lot. However, having a niche to focus on can really elevate you in that specific field.
